I thought I'd give this kit a go as Tottenham are the team I support.
After painting this kit, my wonderful wife said "oh, you've painted a team of sailors!" Thanks then!
I'm still undecided as to whether I like this kit or not; if Spurs get into the Champions League or win a trophy this year I will love it; if they win sweet fa then it'll be another forgotten kit!
Here's how the "Sailors" turned out on the little plastic men
During a recent subbuteo tournament I played in, one player was playing with a team of unpainted figures. I just couldn't have that! After finding out he was a big Aston Villa fan, he asked me to paint up what has to be one of their most complex kit designs. As I'm always up for a challenge, I couldn't refuse.
Here's how it's turned out
I do love those Hummel kits from the late 1980's!
It's not been a great season for this team so far; maybe the magic of 'Arry Redknapp can turn their season around?
Another team that I've painted up for a fellow WRP7 player is this seasons QPR kit.
Here's how it turned out
Bases and figures are Superfooty
2K4 figures, Raptor bases
A friend who I regularly play subbuteo with is a massive Arsenal fan. With me being a Spurs fan, some of the games we have can get quite heated!
Here's Arsenal's home kit for the 2012/13 season.
I have a very strong urge to "accidently" break these!
The figures are 2K4, the bases are Raptors
