HW NY Cosmos
Next up in the HW series of teams I'm painting is New York Cosmos. Famous for players such as Pele, Beckenbauer and Cruyff, the Cosmos were nicknamed "the most glamorous team in world football". They were a bit before my time but I think the kit is very striking. I was watching Football Focus on BBC a few weeks ago and they had a film about the NY Cosmos; it looks like they are making a comeback with none other than Eric Cantona as their manager!

ReplyDeleteI don't think the film was the one you have mentioned; I've looked on Youtube and that's different to the one I watched on the BBC. I think it was made specifically for BBC.
